DVA Household Services are available to eligible veterans who need assistance with domestic tasks due to accepted disabilities or conditions. Eligibility is determined by DVA based on your service history and current needs. We work with veterans across Australia who have been approved for these services.

How do I know if I'm eligible for DVA cleaning?
DVA Household Services are available to veterans with DVA Gold or White Cards who have Household Services as an approved entitlement. You can check your entitlements online at MyService or give DVA a call to confirm.
How do I apply for DVA Household Services?
Get in touch with DVA directly to apply. You may need supporting documentation from your GP or treating health professional. DVA will assess your application and work out your allocation.
Do I need to pay anything for DVA cleaning?
Not a cent. If you have approved DVA Household Services, the cleaning is fully funded by DVA. We bill them directly, so there's no out-of-pocket cost for services within your allocation.
How often can I get cleaning with DVA funding?
That depends on your approved DVA allocation, which is based on your individual needs. Common allocations include weekly, fortnightly, or monthly cleaning.
Can my spouse or partner benefit from DVA cleaning?
In some cases, yes — DVA entitlements may extend to dependants. Contact DVA to find out what's covered under your specific entitlements.
What tasks are included in DVA cleaning?
Standard household tasks — vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, dusting, and general tidying. Specific tasks may vary depending on your approved services.
What if I need more cleaning than my DVA allocation allows?
No problem — we can provide private services at our standard rates. Many DVA customers top up their allocation with additional private cleans.
