We love cleaning in Vaucluse
Located less than ten kilometres away from Sydney’s Central Business District, Vaucluse is one of the most luxurious suburbs to live in. Located in a peninsular region, Vaucluse is sandwiched by the Sydney Harbour, the Ocean and the suburbs of Dover Heights, Rose Bay and Watsons Bay. With seven heritage listed sites such as the Wentworth Mausoleum, Macquarie Lighthouse, and Wentworth Memorial Church Vaucluse is home to a lot of historic buildings, giving the area a feeling of connectedness to the past.
This lighthouse, officially called the South Head Upper Light, was one of the first, and longest-serving lighthouse in Australia. With breathtaking views from the beach and near the lighthouse, this area is one of the most picturesque places you’ll ever see. With numerous parks and reserves on the shore of the harbour, such as the Hermitage Reserve and Parsley Bay Reserve, this area is an amazing weekend retreat to enjoy the fabulous views while walking along the bay.
Vaucluse House, the historic estate, is also located here. Featuring a 19th-century estate containing the house, kitchen wing, stables and outbuildings intact and standing even today, this was designed in part by the explorer William Charles Wentworth, who was one of first native-born Australia to gain a reputation overseas and advocated for self-rule in Australia.
